Cornell's Climate Center Predicts Winter Forecast

Just what sort of winter is at hand for the Finger Lakes? Art DeGaetano, the Director of the Northeast Regional Climate Center at Cornell University, tells us this far out it looks like it will be a run-of-the-mill season.

The El Niño pattern that will warm up the Western US will be counter balanced here by North Atlantic Oscillation.

If you plan on Florida get-aways December, January or February plan on packing a sweater. El Niño will help produce colder than normal weather there.
