Elderly Auburn Man Sentenced to Jail for Selling Drugs

An elderly man from Auburn is joing to jail. Prosecutors say Curtis Fizer was selling drugs. Fizer, 64, was sentenced to 2 1/2 years behind bars. Fizer has rheumatoid arthritis and needs a cane to get around. He also has two artificial hips, and is reportedly afraid he'll die a prisoner.

But prosecutors say Fizer also had a lengthy criminal history, going back to when he was a healthy young man in his 20s. Fizer pled guilty to fourth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance in exchange for a lighter sentence.

He'll also have to pay the Finger Lakes Drug Task Force 45 dollars in restitution.
