They'll be pulling up the curtain on the 2012 Finger Lakes Film Festival Friday night at 8pm at the Cracker Factory at 35 Lehigh in Geneva. This year 11 short films of 20 minutes of less are entered. There are multiple categories: narrative fiction, animation, experimental, documentary and music video.
The films being screened include :
“Bean Caught” by R.M. Bergeron and M.A. Lari (animation/college)
“Extreme Home Makeover” by Alex Aronson (narrative fiction/college)
“Here Inside You“ by Raymond McCarthy Bergeron (experimental/college)
“Just Get Up” by Alexandra Augustine (animation/K-12)
“Mistakes Made” by Max Messie (narrative fiction/K-12)
“More Than Just a Restaurant” by Connor Widenmeyer, Andrew Mason and Ryan Lohvis (documentary/college)
“New Exposures” by Matias Shimada (narrative fiction/college)
“Sunset Swimming” by Max Messie (music video/K-12)
“Test Anxiety” by Bob Deaver (animation/general)
“The Puzzled” by Christas Kei Yan Wan (experimental/college)
“The Secret” by Noah Pitifer (experimental/college)
The awards will be handed out right after the screening on Friday night.
