A Steuben County man faces multiple charges for allegedly holding a child against their will. Matthew York is accused of felony criminal contempt along with misdemeanor charges of unlawful imprisonment and endangering the welfare of a child charges.
According to State Police, the charges stem from an October 16th incident when York allegedly tied up an individual under the age of 17 years old, which was an order of protection violation.
York was issued an appearance ticket.
