Rochester Man Picked Up In Geneva For Alleged Drug Dealing

A 34 year old Rochester man was nabbed in a traffic stop on Middle Street in Geneva this afternoon by patrol officers and members of the Geneva Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit following a several month investigation into the sale of crack cocaine at various locations around town.  


 Edwin “E” Cruz-Lopez, was charged with 3 Counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree. He was allegedly in possession of  cocaine, crack cocaine and heroin all packaged and ready for sale. The drugs seized had a street value of 2 grand. Police also seized cash  and a 2003 Honda Pilot SUV.  Cruz-Lopez was held awaiting arraignment
