Slight increase in the number of people looking work in Cayuga County. The state Labor Department reports unemployment in the county increased slightly last month by 1/10th of a percentage point.
To put it another way, it's 7.6% now, up from 7.5% in September. The unemployment number statewide in October jumped to 8.3%.
