1 year old Claire Dillon of Lakemont was born with a disorder called Sturge-Weber Syndrome, which is associated with port wine stains, a birthmark that is covering 85 percent of her face and head. At 3 months, Claire was diagnosed with a severe seizure disorder, which essentially causes a mini stroke that only ends with medicine. The family's biggest concern is Claire will have a seizure that will go undetected, especially when they're sleeping. Claire's grandmother Perrin Dillon tells us the best solution they've found is to introduce her to a service dog geared toward seizure detection.
