Arrest Made in Last Week's Penn Yan Standoff

The man responsible for the standoff with police in Penn Yan last week has been arrested. 

The charges were filed after Greg Garno barricaded himself in his house, started multiple fires inside and threatened officers with a knife and baseball bat. After spotting smoke, officers forced their way inside the home and carried Garno out to safety.

Penn Yan Village Police Chief Mark Hulse tells us more.

Chief Hulse said the incident was a valuable teaching tool for his department and other emergency agencies that serve Penn Yan.
