An expert in public school finances will be in Auburn on Saturday. Dr. Rick Timbs will talk about the impact of state aid on the Auburn Enlarged City School District. Superintendent Constance Evans says Timbs, who's Executive Director of the Statewide School Finance Consortium, is a wealth of information.
Timbs will use the city's financial data to discuss how districts can plan their budgets for at least three years.
The free seminar takes place on Saturday morning, 9:30 to 11:30, at the Auburn High School auditorium.
