Donate A Toy For a Tot Sunday At Dilaj's In Auburn

Christmas is just around the corner and Dilaj's in Auburn is playing host to a special Toys for Tots event in cooperation with the marine corps. The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community. Dilaj's owner Ihor Dilaj says stop by for live music, food, Santa, gifts and if possible make a donation so that every child can have a nice Christmas.

Over the past few years, this program has made Christmas brighter for 2,500-3,600 families. Dilaj says if you can't stick around, your donation is still welcome.

The event runs from 3:00-7:00, Sunday at Dilaj's 7430 North Street Road in Auburn.
