A Wayne County man has been charged in connection with the death of his mother, whose body was found in the woods this fall.
Daniel Burkwit of Huron was arrested Sunday on a charge of second-degree manslaughter. He is accused of causing the death of his mother, 75-year-old Marcia Burkwit, during a fight in October at their home. Her body was found in nearby woods, wrapped in a blanket and covered with leaves.
