Wayne-Finger Lakes Board of Cooperative Educational Services Search Consultant Jo Anne Antonacci is pleased to announce that the Wayne-Finger Lakes Board of Cooperative Education has selected Scott Bischoping as District Superintendent. The Board voted unanimously in favor of hiring Bischoping.
Bischoping was chosen from an initial pool of highly qualified candidates and has more than two decades of educational experience. Since July of 2006, Bischoping has served as superintendent of the Livonia Central School District. Bischoping is approaching his 25th year with Livonia and has served in many different capacities, including Business Education teacher, High School principal, and director of Instruction.
“I am very excited to join the Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES. I look forward to working in collaboration with the Board, BOCES staff and all 25 component districts,” Bischoping said in accepting the position. “I am confident the people and resources of this great region will enable our BOCES to make the most of the opportunities ahead and prepare our students for the challenges of the future.”
“The Board and district are looking forward to the enthusiasm, experience and leadership skills Scott brings to our region,” Wayne-Finger Lakes Board President Anne Morgan said. “His management experience as a local superintendent and extensive work in a rural school district setting will be invaluable to our component districts.”
Bischoping will begin his role as Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES District Superintendent on or before March 1, 2013.
