A Steuben County man pulled over for allegedly driving drunk Saturday night had three teenagers in his car at the time of the incident.
40 year old Ryan Mehlenbacher of Cohocton tried to avoid the deputy sheriff that pulled him over by driving past the patrol car and quickly pulling into a private driveway. He then allegedly cut across onto another street before being pulled over. It was determined Mehlenbacher had been driving under the influence with three passengers, all ages 16 to 17.

Mehlenbacher was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, felony aggravated unlicensed operation and multiple traffic violations. More charges are pending an investigation by Child Protective Services.
