Police in Steuben County have reported that they are currently holding 11 people who are suspected of being in the country illegally.
According to the Steuben County Sheriff's Office, deputies found eleven non-English speaking people after a traffic stop in Avoca. Deputies say they were unable to provide documentation of their presence in the United States.
Three of the people were detained by the U.S. Border Patrol as officials continue to investigate possible connections to human trafficking. The others will face a deportation hearing.
Deputies are not releasing any names.
