3 Ex-Chemung Canal Workers Guilty of Embezzlement

Three former employees with the Chemung Canal Trust Company have pleaded guilty to embezzling more than 300-THOUSAND dollars from the bank. 

Gwen Gooding and Megan Horton of Owego, along with Shannon Moore of Athens, Pennsylvania, all pleaded guilty to felony crime bank embezzlement in U.S. District Court. All three were former employees of Chemung Canal's  branch in Owego. 

                                    

Gooding, a former head teller, and Moore, also a teller, admitted between December 2004 and September of 2011 they took more than 300-THOUSAND dollars. Moore admitted to stealing more than 25-THOUSAND dollars. 

All three faces up to 30 years in prison when sentenced.
