Reed Explains Fiscal Cliff Vote

The House voted late Tuesday night to approve the fiscal cliff plan, passed overwhelmingly by the Senate. It was a scaled back measure designed to block tax hikes and delay spending cuts.  Congressman Tom Reed voted for it saying there was a critical point in his decision.

                                    
Reed said his vote secures tax cuts for 99 percent in the 23rd District on a permanent basis.

Reed is hopeful more work can be done in Washington to reduce spending.
