Two people were hurt in a four car crash on Grant Avenue in the Town of Sennett just before nine this morning (Tuesday.) The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office reports a car traveling east on Grant Avenue and operated by 22 year old Jessica O'Connor of Auburn side swiped an eastbound car driven by 94 year old John Keenan of Syracuse. O'Connor's car then crossed into the westbound lane striking two oncoming cars.
O'Connor had to be extricated from her vehicle. She was flown to University Hospital in Syracuse by Mercy Flight where she is being treated for serious but non-life threatening injuries. She is being ticketed for Improper Passing, moving from Lane Unsafely and Reckless driving.
21 year old James Liscum of Cicero, who was in the last car hit, was taken to Auburn Community Hospital with minor injuries.
