Cuomo Says Kids Need More Time In School

In the State of the State speech Wednesday afternoon, Governor Andrew Cuomo said our students are falling behind other countries because they don't spend nearly enough time in the class room when compared to other nations. He has a couple of ways to fix the problem.

He said the state would help with the transition for schools who wanted to opt in to longer days or longer years.
