The Canandaigua Police Department reports the arrest of 48 year old David Noaker of Canandaigua following a report of a noise complaint at Holiday Harbour.
Officers responded to Holiday Harbour for an ongoing dispute between Noaker and his neighbor involving noise. At the conclusion of the complaint, Noaker displayed a red laser beam from a dark window of his apartment placing it on the head and chest of a Canandaigua Police Officer as she was sitting in her patrol car writing a report. It was unknown at the time if the laser was part of a weapon and Noaker was charged with Menacing in the 3rd degree. A search of the residence produced negative results for any weapons although 2 laser pointer devices were confiscated. Noaker was processed and remanded to the Ontario County Jail with no bail.
