Joseph Camardo, Jr. is back in court again, trying once more to stall the building of a new theater on State Street until a proper environmental impact review is done, he said.

Camardo is suing the city of Auburn, the city's planning board, Cayuga Community College and Cayuga County in the latest of a series of legal challenges related to the Schwartz Family Performing Arts Center project.
According to the Auburn Citizen, He filed the Article 78 petition on Dec. 28 in state Supreme Court in Cayuga County, seeking an order to rescind a Sept. 4, 2012 "negative declaration" by the college, which means CCC declared that no environmental impacts would result from the project.
