Cayuga County Deputies have arrested two Cato residents who are accused breaking into one Town of Victory home and trying burglarize two others this week.
19-year old Jessica Parker-Sharkey and 21-year old Ryan Meseroll were picked up at their Cato home Tuesday night.
Each is charged with second-degree burglary and second-degree attempted burglary. Deputies confirm Meseroll is also now charged with third-degree burglary and petit larceny for allegedly burglarizing TC's Diner in Cato last October.
The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office is also investigating a series of burglaries and larcenies from vehicles which occurred overnight January 20th to 21st. Numerous residents in the Town of Ira reported their vehicles gone through and various items and money stolen. Some of the vehicles that were gone through were parked in unlocked garages. It is unknown at this time if these incidents are all related.
