AuburnCity Manager Doug Selby has presented the 2013 Re-engineering Task Force Report. The Auburn Citizen reports the presentation at last night's City Council meeting included ways of reducing costs, and improving revenue and efficiencies. Selby says the task force was created following the most recent budget process.
The paper reports Selby suggests creating a paperless agenda system, using postcards instead of sealed envelopes for mailings, and hiring a part-time courier to reduce the amount of time city employees spend delivering messages.
