Just before noon, Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies investigated a three car accident at the intersection of State Route 96 and Leader Road in the Town of Fayette. 51 year old Joan Gelatt OF Romulus was south bound on 96 when a north bound vehicle being driven by 18 year old Holly Klue of Waterloo attempted to make a left turn, west bound to Leader Road in front of Gelatt’s vehicle.
After the collision with Gelatt’s vehicle, Klue’s vehicle struck a third car, operated by 28 year old Melissa M. Nielsen of Waterloo. Gelatt was treated at the scene by North Seneca Ambulance for a leg injury then transported to Geneva General Hospital. Klue was treated at the scene by North Seneca Ambulance. Nielson was not injured. Klue was issued a traffic ticket for Fail to Yield Right of Way at a Left Turn
