Sheriff Povero Says Drivers Have To Watch Out For Deer, Especially During Winter

Ontario County Sheriff Phil Povero says his officers get a lot of calls about car-deer crashes during the winter, and the deer are remaining active.

He says drivers need to be even more alert now.

Deer are more active in the early morning and late afternoon, so on your way to and from work or school, watch the side of the road for those glowing eyes and those white tails.
