Smith Opera House "Battle of the Bands" Fundraiser For New Lakefront Playground

Some local bands will be playing at the Smith Opera House Saturday during the "Battle of the Bands" to celebrate the new Geneva community playground. Kelly Bradley says the ticket proceeds help complete the playground.

And there will be a special appearance by HWS President Mark Gearan, who is also a talented piano player. There are other ways to help support the playground.

Tickets are $10 for general admission, $5 for a student... ages 12 and under are free. The event starts at 7:00.
