The City of Canandaigua Police Department charged Scott D. Allen, age 39, of 95 Niagara Street, Canandaigua, with criminal contempt in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor.
Allen is accused of violating a court mandate by going to the residence of a 15 year old female who is the protected party of a duly served order of protection.
He was sent to the Ontario County Jail to be arraigned at a later date.

Police also charged the victim’s mother, Tracy L. Bergstresser, age 38, of 223 Bristol Street, Canandaigua, with endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor.
She is accused of allowing Allen to visit the victim’s residence while knowing the order of protection prohibited it. She was released on an appearance ticket.
