SUNY Wants to Become Online Education Leader

During her State of the University address, Chancellor Nancy Zimpher says SUNY will grow to become the country's biggest provider of online education courses. 

                                         

Zimpher says no institution in America - not even the for-profits - will be able to match the number of offerings and the quality of instruction.

The SUNY system also will offer students the option of graduating in three years, which may make it the largest public higher education system in the country to do so.
