A 20 year old Watkins Glen man has been charged with promoting prison contraband. It's alleged that Stephen Benting the 3rd made a weapon while an inmate in the Schuyler County Jail. We are told Benting filed a sharp point on a tooth brush.
Benting was issued an appearance ticket for Watkins Glen Village Court.
