For people who live in the city of Auburn, you're getting a chance to sound off on how to improve the school district. A survey from the state education department will be released next week. The Auburn Citizen reports schools with low performances of students with disabilities are being targeted. Auburn is just one district with schools the state wants to focus on. Parents, teachers, district staff, and students will be asked to point out strengths in the schools and suggest improvements.
A link will be sent through email, but you can also stop by any school in the district for a copy. Additionally, there will be a survey link on the Auburn school district website. People will have until March 1st to respond.
