Bark Park Concept Approved For Geneva

Supporters are now howling with joy. The Geneva City Council has said yes to putting in a bark park at the old playground south of the Rec Center downtown. This morning a new facebook page popped up to solicit community backing for the idea. City Recreation Department Director Janelle Drach says a committee is already in place to work on the project.

Drach says they'd like to be able to open in just a bit more than a year.

They need to collect 40-thousand dollars from private sources for the build out.
