Auburn Police were dispatched Friday morning to a home on Cross Street where a man had just been stabbed in an apparent home invasion robbery. The 33 year old victim was sent to Auburn Community Hospital with non life threatening injuries. A suspect, 41 year old Anthony Zagoursky was located at his home on Chapman Avenue around 9 and taken into custody. He was charged with first degree Burglary, second degree Assault and Criminal Possession of a Weapon.

The motive for the alleged break in and assualt appears to stem from a separate altercation earlier in the morning at the Cross address involving other parties. Detective Bryant Bergenstock has the case and can be reached at 315-258-9880.
