A racial harassment lawsuit against the Ithaca School District has finally been settled after many years in the court system.
The school district will pay 200-THOUSAND dollars to Amelia Kearney for harassment and threats of violence suffered by her daughter, a student at Dewitt Middle School in 2005 and 2006.
The school district will pay 75-THOUSAND dollars of the settlement with their insurance carrier covering the rest.
