Oliver Museum Opens "Stitch in Time" Exhibit Tuesday

A month long exhibit opened this past weekend at the Arts Center of Yates County that celebrates fabric arts and highlights some of the new work being done with fiber, featuring the work of five women artists. The Center's Kris Pearson says the nearby Oliver House Museum wanted to get in involved and will do so starting today

Pearson says both showcases spotlight the many talents of our local artists, both past and present.

The Material Girls exhibit at the Arts Center continues through March 16th.   The Museum's “A Stitch in Time” exhibit will highlight the lost arts of tatting, cutwork, spider stitch and ric-rac.
