Dogs Attack Llama and Sheep in Canandaigua

42 year old James Dano of Canandaigua was issued an appearance ticket after his two dogs were reported to have been attacking a llama on Stoddard Road. A neighbor, Paul Diaz, ran over to help the llama and chased the animals away with a stick.  Not far after the dogs were reported to be at another home where they were chasing sheep.  Dale Pimm owner of the property captured one of the dogs while the Ontario County Humane Society captured the second dog.  Dano was identified as the owner of the two dogs and issued a ticket for violating the Environmental Conservation Law, Allowing Dogs to RUn on Land Inhabited by Deer and was released.  Neither the llama or sheep were injured.
