The assets of Greek Peak, the year-round Cortland County ski resort, are set to auctioned off on March 19.
A federal bankruptcy court judge approved a motion last week setting the auction.
There is no guarantee the assets, primarily the ski and snowboard resort and related property, will be sold, but the sale may go a long way toward settling the resort's bankruptcy reorganization case and settle its future.
Peak Resorts Inc. and four affiliates, filed for protection under a Chapter 11 bankruptcy in early August.
The 55-year-old resort, among Cortland County's largest employers on a seasonal basis, has expanded in recent years with the Hope Lake Lodge and indoor water park, and a year-round adventure center as well as a relocated and expanded snow tubing area.
The auction is open to interested parties and qualified bidders and will be held at Peak Resorts' law firm's office.
