Macedon Police arrested 27 Year Erin Homer of Palmyra after a one car accident Wednesday night on State Route 350 in the Village of Macedon. Police report Homer went off the road , hitting the railroad tracks crossing Route 350 and then struck a tree head on. After a field test officers determined that Homer was under the influence of narcotics.
Police also say Homer had her 6 year old child in the vehicle with her at the time of the crash. She is charged with Felony DWI , Felony Aggravated DWI for having a child in the vehicle ( Leandra’s Law ) , as well as failure to maintain lane and uninspected motor vehicle. Homer was processed and released to Macedon Town Ambulance for a transport to Newark Wayne Hospital for medical issues. She will appear in Village Court on the 27th to be arraigned .
