Two Injured in Middlesex Car Accident

A two car accident at the intersection of Townline and Lindsley Roads in the town of Middlesex Thursday afternoon sent two people to the hospital.

80-year-old Emelian Furdey of Rochester was traveling south on Arnold Road when he failed to stop at the Townline Road stop sign and collided with a car that was going west on Townline Road driven by 24-year-old Jacob Reifsteck of Rushville.

Furdey and his wife were taken to F.F. Thompson Hospital for treatment of leg and abdominal pain. Reifsteck was treated at the scene and released.

Furdey was ticketed for failing to stop.
