Newark Narrows Superintendent Search to Final Four

Newark school district has narrowed its search for a new superintendent to four finalists.

Beginning Monday, each will spend one day in the district before the Memorial Day weekend. Each will tour the schools and meet with students, staff and community groups throughout the day before having dinner with and meeting with the school board.

The four finalists came from a list of 34 applicants.

The finalists are:

• Mary Aronson who will visit the school district tomorrow.

• Brett Provenzano who will visit the school district May 20.

• Matt Cook: He will visit the school district May 21.

• Nelson Kise: who will visit the school district May 22.

Individuals who would like to be part of the community group meetings with the finalists should make arrangements by calling 332-3217.
