Penn Yan Mayor Praises Village Business Climate

Penn Yan Mayor Bob Church was on hand at Friday's ribbon cutting ceremony at Carey's True Value and Rental Outlet's grand re-opening.  Church said the work owner Jeff Gifford and his employees have done benefits Penn Yan.

With the grand re-opening at Carey's, the Birkett Landing renovation project that will convert the existing buildings into 13 upscale apartments and leasable commercial space fronting on the Keuka Outlet and Lake Street Wines and Spirits moving soon to a new home on Water Street, Church says there's a lot of upside in Penn Yan right now.

Church adds all of this activity is happening as Penn Yan gets ready for the busy summer tourism season.
