Two Injured in Clifton Springs Car Accident

A crash Monday afternoon in Ontario County left two injured.  75 year old William Defisher and 73 year old Eleanor Defisher of Williamson were headed south on County Road 25 just after 3p.m. when William failed to yield the right of way at the intersection with Route 96 in Clifton Springs.  The truck collided with a truck headed west bound driven by 39 year old Keith Pfeiffer of Castile.  According to teh Ontario County Sheriff's, Catile failed to reduce his speed for the flashing yellow light at the intersection.  Both William and Eleanor Defisher suffered back and neck injuries and were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital by Finger Lakes Ambulance.  William Defisher was issued a ticket for failure to yield the right of way. Pfeiffer was issued tickets for failure to reduce speed and for not carrying the proper amount of warning devices on a commercial vehicle. Both are scheduled to appear in Manchester Town Court.
