Inergy Trespasser Plans to Appeal Sentence

A Schuyler County man arrested last September for trespassing at the gate of the Inergy owned entrance to the Compressor Station and North Brine Field in the town of Reading was sentenced Wednesday to pay a $375 dollar fine.  Jeremy Aldersen will appeal the sentence imposed by Reading Town Justice Raymond Berry.  Alderson was found guilty by Berry in May.   Alderson, the Reverend Gary Judson and Susan Walker were arrested back on September 6th for their staged protest.  Alderson spoke with us that day after chaining himself to a fence at the site

Walker and Judson received the same sentence as Alderson with Walker opting to serve a jail term instead.
