Honeoye Woman Arrested in Alleged Rape and Burglary

A Honeoye woman has been arrested for alleged rape.  21 year old Jennifer D. Abrams was arrested for rape in the third degree after an investigation revealed she had sexual intercourse with a 16 year old male at Parklawn Apartments in Honeoye on March 23, 2013.

She was arraigned in the Richmond Town Court where she was remanded to the Ontario County Jail in lieu of cash bail. She will return to answer the charges at a later date.

Abrams was also arrested for burglary in the third degree after she allegedly entered Honeoye Lake Wine and Liquor on June 23, 2013 and stole two bottles of liquor. Abrams was banned from the store in June 2012 by the owner and therefore the petit larceny is elevated to burglary in the third degree.  She will return to answer the charges at a later date.

The investigation is ongoing and another arrest is expected for petit larceny as Abrams was aided by another person.
