Yellow Dot Program Helps First Responders

The New York State Sheriff's Association is making an extra push to promote the Yellow Dot program. Ontario County Sheriff Phil Povero says you can place a dot sticker at home or on your car to let first responders know that people inside have certain medical issues. On the car it goes on the driver's side rear window directing emergency personnel to your glove compartment.

At home the Yellow Dot goes on the front door and the same information can be placed in the Freezer compartment of your refrigerator.
