Threatening Note Found at Keuka College

A handwritten message, referencing the fatal middle school shooting in Nevada earlier this week, was found written on a bathroom wall inside Ball Hall on the Keuka College campus Tuesday.  The incident at Keuka Park is currently under investigation by local authorities and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The College's Communications Director Doug Lippincott tells us more about what was found.

The message ended with a quote often attributed to Adolf Hitler. Lippincott said authorities and the College used established protocol in notifying students and staff about the incident, including emailing a photo of the written message. He explains why Keuka didn't use the Nixle notification system.

Lippincott says some hopeful leads have developed.

Anyone that has information on the incident is asked to contact Keuka College Public Safety or the Yates County Sheriff's Office.
