Seneca County Has 2 Drug Take Back Locations Saturday

When you think about drug abuse, you think pot, crack, heroin. The biggest drug issue for many local law enforcement agencies is the theft and abuse of left-over or expired  prescription drugs. The Seneca County Sheriffs Office is joining with the DEA to get these pills out of circulation with a special "Drug Take Back" event Saturday at two locations : the  Sheriff's north substation, located at 44 West Williams Street, Waterloo and  the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center, 6150 State Route 96, Romulus.

They will be on hand between 10 and 2. Undersheriff Gary Sullivan says you can come and go, nobody will pester you for information.

The pills are turned over to DEA agents who transport them to an incinerator in Niagara Falls.
