Canandaigua Man Arrested for Threatening to Kill Person Twice

The Canandaigua Police Department reports the arrest of Jonathon L. Keeling, 37, following two separate domestic incidents taking place between September 3rd and September 5th 2013. Investigation alleges that on September 3rd, 2013 Keeling threatened to kill another person with a knife after physically restraining her on the ground while holding a knife to her throat.

On Sept 5, 2013 it is also alleged Keeling threatened the same person with a sledge hammer by holding it against her head while making threats of killing her. The victim escaped and locked herself into a bedroom where she called 911. Keeling allegedly followed the victim and damaged the door by punching it.

The victim suffered minor injuries as a result of the two domestic incidents and refused treatment. Keeling was taken into custody and charged with 2 counts of mencaing in the second degree, unlawful imprisonment in the first degree, criminal mischief in the fourth degree, harassment in the second degree and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Keeling was remanded to the Ontario County Jail on $2500 cash bail.
