John E. Wyckoff, 86, lifetime resident of Interlaken, passed away at Hospicare of Tompkins County on Thursday April 4th, 2013.
The family will be present to receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 12th at the Covert Funeral Home, 7199 So. Main Street, Ovid. Funeral services will be immediately follow at 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home, with Pastor Cory Eckstrom and Pastor Robert Foote officiating. Prayers of committal and military honors will immediately follow in Lake View Cemetery in Interlaken.

John is survived by his wife of 57 years, Beverly J. Wyckoff; three sons, Pastor Kevin (Cindy) Wyckoff, Layne (Nettie) Wyckoff, and Brook (Cindy) Wyckoff; nine grandchildren, Jessica, John, Daniel, Timothy, Anna, Rachael, Olivia, Danielle, and Jeff; a brother, Walter Wyckoff; three sisters, Zelda Burnett, Ann Cavanaugh, and Dorothy Fritz; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a sister, Emma Lou, and three brothers, Joe, Donald, and James Wyckoff.
