Seneca Falls - Domenica A. "Dee" Giovannini, 90, formerly of Bridge St., Seneca Falls, N.Y. died Tues day (June 25, 2013) at Seneca Nursing & Rehabilita tion Center, Waterloo, N.Y. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, on Sunday (June 30) from 2 to 5 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday (July 1) at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated by Reverend Joseph Catanise & James Fennessy, Pastor. Burial will follow in St. Columb kille Cemetery, Seneca Falls.

"Dee" was born in Seneca Falls on February 16, 1923, the daughter of the late Domenic & Teresa Antonio Caraccilo. She was a life resident of Seneca Falls. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls and her church's Guild and Altar Society. "Dee" loved her family, baking, & cooking. She loved extending her hospitality to her family, her friends, & her neighbors.
She is survived by four daughters, Adele Giovannini of Seneca Falls, N.Y., Margaret (Dennis) Porter of Sidney, N.Y., Nancy (Michael) Bellerdine of Auburn, N.Y., Mary Jo (Raymond) Rutz of Lake-in-the-Hills, Illinois; son Eugene (Marina) Giovannini of Gilbert, Arizona; eight grandchildren, Mark & Sarah Porter, Jennifer Bellerdine, Domenica (Jeremy) Gentry, Franchesca, & Vincent Giovannini, Raymond III & Juliana Rutz; great-grandchild, Bryce Parker; four brothers, Vincent (Jan) Caraccilo of Seneca Falls, N.Y., Domenic (Kay) Caraccilo of Seneca Falls, N.Y., Eugene Caraccilo of Ithaca, N.Y., Robert (Marie) Caraccilo of Seneca Falls, N.Y.; sister-in-law, Mary Caraccilo of Seneca Falls, N.Y.; brother-in-law, Ernest Peck of Pennsylvania; many nieces and nephews; and very special friend Joanne Vacca.
In addition to her parents, "Dee" was predeceased by her husband, Massimo Geno Giovannini who died October 7, 1985; sister, Anna Peck; brother, Frank Caraccilo; her sister-in-law, Judith Caraccilo.
