CLYDE- Mr. Jacky E. White, Jr. 61, of 10394 Nelson Rd., died unexpectedly on Saturday (December 21, 2013) at Newark Wayne Hospital. Family and friends are invited to call Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m.at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church ( St. Joseph the Worker Parish) with Fr. Augustine Chumo officiating. Burial will follow immediately after in St. John's Cemetery, Clyde.Memorial contributions to the Clyde Volunteer Ambulance Corps, PO Box 245, Clyde, N.Y. 14433 would be appreciated.
Jacky was born in IL on November 24, 1952, the son of Jacky L. and Anna Marcella White Sr. He was a lifetime resident of Clyde and was employed by the NYS Dept. of Corrections. He was married to the former Barbara Skinkle. Jacky was a lifetime member of the Lyons Rod and Gun Club, the National Rifle Assn and the Lyons VFW Auxillary.
Surviving are his wife of over 40 years, Barbara S. White of Clyde; his mother Anna White of Clyde; his children Kelly (Tony) Varelli of Clyde, Bobbi Jo (Philip) Arliss of Clyde, and Jacky E. (Amanda) White, III of Savannah; eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and many, many friends.
