Paul Welch

Lockpit / Clyde - Mr. Paul Welch, 92, of 888 Lockpit Rd., died unexpectedly on Sunday (June 8, 2014) at the Wayne County Nursing home following a short illness, surrounded by his family.
At Paul's request there will be no prior calling hours and funeral services will be private. Memorial contributions to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
Mr. Welch was born on November 29, 1921, in Rochester, NY, to Llewellyn and Ella O'Neil Welch. Paul was a tool and die maker working first for the Garlock Corp., in Palmyra, and later retired from the West Plex Corp. in Manchester, NY. He was a veteran of World War II. On June 20, 1942, he married the late Rena Holt Welch, who pre-deceased him in 2008.
Surviving are his four daughters, Susan (Robert) Campbell of Lockpit, Sandi Welch of Waterloo, Elizabeth (Wayne) Wolsey of Savannah, and Cindy, (Steven) Anthony of Clyde, eight grandchildren and 11 great-children.
Besides his parents and his wife, Paul was pre-deceased by his son Ronald in 2007.
